{"id":16247,"date":"2026-09-21T18:05:56","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T16:05:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.logogramma.com\/clic-it-2026-here-we-are-as-every-year\/"},"modified":"2026-10-02T09:37:19","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T07:37:19","slug":"clic-it-2026-here-we-are-as-every-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.logogramma.com\/en\/clic-it-2026-here-we-are-as-every-year\/","title":{"rendered":"CLiC-it 2026: here we are, as every year!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Logogramma also participated this year in the <strong>Conference on Computational Linguistics<\/strong>, an event organised by the <strong>Italian Association of Computational Linguistics (AILC)<\/strong>, which brings together the scientific and professional community active in the field of computational linguistics and language technologies. <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to being a bronze sponsor of the event, because as every year we want to support the community we feel most connected to, we presented a scientific contribution with the poster <strong>\u201cDialogue Moves and User Engagement in Human-LLM Conversational Exchanges\u201d<\/strong>, the result of work by the Logogramma R&amp;D team composed of <strong>Martina Di Bratto, Valentina Russo, Azzurra Mancini and Marco Grazioso<\/strong>, together with <strong>Valeria Mauro<\/strong>, who completed her internship with us as part of the <strong>PhD in Interpretation Studies at the University of Catania<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>For us, participation in CLiC-it represents much more than an opportunity for discussion with the scientific community: it tells a story of an approach to innovation that is an integral part of the company&#8217;s identity and is founded on linguistic research.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Research to Market Solutions<\/h2>\n\n<p>At the heart of the technological solutions developed by Logogramma is a continuous process of <strong>research and development<\/strong>. This approach is also made possible by the solid <strong>academic background of the PhDs who are part of the team<\/strong>, allowing the company to address language technologies, artificial intelligence, and conversational systems from a deep scientific understanding.<\/p>\n\n<p>Research, however, is only the starting point. Logogramma&#8217;s distinctive value lies in its ability to <strong>transform knowledge and experimentation into concrete solutions<\/strong>, bringing the rigorous methodology of research into dialogue with the company&#8217;s extensive experience in developing technologies and services for the market.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is precisely in this transition \u2013 from research question to experimentation, from experimentation to technology, and from technology to solution \u2013 that our idea of innovation takes shape.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Studying Conversations to Design Better Technologies<\/h2>\n\n<p>The work presented at CLiC-it 2026 fits into this perspective. The poster <em>\u201cDialogue Moves and User Engagement in Human-LLM Conversational Exchanges\u201d<\/em> analyses the dynamics of conversational interactions between people and Large Language Models (LLMs), focusing on the relationship between <strong>dialogue moves<\/strong> and <strong>user engagement<\/strong>. <br\/>Studying how a conversation between a human and a generalist model evolves means, in fact, not only questioning the linguistic capabilities of the models but also the ways in which users interact with them, react to responses, and progressively build the dialogue.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Bridge Between University and Industry<\/h2>\n\n<p>The collaboration with <strong>Valeria Mauro<\/strong>, born in the context of her PhD in Interpretation Studies at the University of Catania, is a further example of the value Logogramma places on the relationship between <strong>university, research, and business<\/strong>.<br\/>Engagement with the academic world allows for constant validation of internal competencies and the exploration of new approaches and frontier topics, while industrial experience enables these insights to be taken beyond the laboratory, transforming them into technologies capable of meeting our clients&#8217; business needs.<\/p>\n\n<p>Logogramma&#8217;s presence at CLiC-it 2026 thus reaffirms a central characteristic: <strong>innovation stems from research but takes shape through the ability to transform it into tangible value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>For Logogramma, continuing to invest in R&amp;D therefore means maintaining a constant dialogue between scientific research and technological application, building today the competencies and solutions that will meet the market&#8217;s needs tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Logogramma also participated this year in the Conference on Computational Linguistics, an event organised by the Italian Association of Computational Linguistics (AILC), which brings together the scientific and professional community active in the field of computational linguistics and language technologies.
