Thanks to the Open Innovation programme by ELIS INNOVATION HUB, Logogramma developed a Proof of Concept with Toyota, which has since evolved into a solution now adopted by the corporation.
A smart response to everyday work: Smart Pec Flow is the name of the custom application created for the corporation.
The ELIS video describes the project that brought Toyota and Logogramma together, with the aim of automating the sorting of incoming PEC (certified email) communications.
By leveraging AI processes and NLP (Natural Language Processing) algorithms, SmartPECFlow identifies the communicative intent within requests received via email and extracts relevant objects to route the requests to the correct departments.
“Smart PEC Flow” is one of the 30 projects honoured with the Impact Award at Open Italy 2023, the ELIS Innovation Hub programme that promotes open and collaborative innovation capable of generating results and social impact.

AI, NLP and Robotics in Cognitive Rehabilitation
As a member of the 5G Academy technical board, Logogramma supported students throughout all phases of the fifth edition Project Work “smartrAIner”, dedicated to the field of Cognitive Rehabilitation.
SmarTrainer is an infrastructure designed to support therapeutic practices aimed at enhancing the cognitive and mnemonic abilities of users through several phases:
– an assessment of the patient’s cognitive level through two linguistic tests;
– a natural and engaging interaction with Furhat, a social robot provided by the PRISCA robotics laboratory which, thanks to the advanced conversational capabilities of CHEMIDAI HEALTH, allows users to interact realistically;
– a classification of patients based on which personalised games are suggested to stimulate cognitive abilities: Mind Match, inspired by traditional memory games, and a second game developed using the “The VISIT Game” infrastructure, which was used to implement the rehabilitative games offered to participants.
The project was realised using Logogramma’s AI.CODIUM® platform, the CHEMIDAI HEALTH suite, and THE VISIT GAME, alongside the Furhat robot from the PRISCA Laboratory.

Thanks to Machine Learning and NLP algorithms, CHEMIDAI profiles and classifies leads and contacts, provides customer assistance, and interprets emails.
CHEMIDAI can be integrated with any DB, ERP management system, e-commerce platform, and CRM via services.
VISIT3D® - Evey in the gallery
Evey is the meta-human guide of VISIT3D® and in this video she is inside “La Campania dei Capolavori“, a gallery accessible in virtual reality featuring approximately 70 works related to the Campania region, ranging from classical antiquity to the nineteenth century.
Evey is capable of profiling visitors at the entrance of the “La Campania dei capolavori” Gallery, then interacting with them in natural language and in real time to describe the works and answer questions about various masterpieces and art in general. Finally, based on each user’s visiting experience, she can suggest places to visit in the area, thereby promoting cultural heritage.
Art has never been so interactive!
Holographic version of Evey at Futuro Remoto 2023 - Ettore De Lorenzo interview for TG3
At the XXXVII edition of “Futuro Remoto” — the first Science Festival in Europe — this year dedicated to Intelligences, Evey appeared in a holographic version with an hologauze in order to answer students’ questions and interact with them in natural language to describe Titian’s Danaë and the beauty of our artistic heritage.
The evening edition of TG3 dedicated to the Festival opens with our solution for natural language interaction in virtual environments, featuring a short interview by Ettore De Lorenzo.
Augmented Reality version of Evey - with Alkedo Produzioni Srl
Thanks to the partnership with Alkedo Produzioni S.r.l., Logogramma makes Evey accessible via a holographic postcard.
By scanning the QR code, Evey appears with her augmented reality avatar and describes the works that can be seen alongside her, also in augmented reality.
Hologram of Frederick II created with the UNINA 5G Academy
As member of the UNINA FIVEG Academy technical board, Logogramma supported students in the realisation of the project work dedicated to REVIVO, in order to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Frederick II. We provided our infrastructure to generate the language models that allowed the hologram of Frederick II to interact with visitors, answering questions about his life and the history of the University.
BufalaCare Project Work - 5G Academy 2024
As member of the UNINA FIVEG Academy technical board, Logogramma supported students throughout all phases of the 2024 fifth edition Project Work “BufalaCare”, dedicated to the agritech world.
In collaboration with TIM — a FIVEG Academy partner — and Tenuta Vannulo in Paestum, it was possible to design and implement an application based on the proprietary AI.CODIUM® platform that:
– aggregates data from different sources (documents, texts, and sensors);
– allows data to be queried in natural language via a virtual assistant and a simple web interface;
– allows operators, whom we can define as “human sensors”, to enter specific field observations into the database.
In this way, it is possible to leverage both the traditional knowledge of an ancient trade and the information provided by various devices and sensors, making the most of both tradition and innovation.

Symbiotic AI - FAIR
As part of the FAIR project, Logogramma and Martec Srl have carried out a project dedicated to the optimisation of human-machine collaboration and the management of anthropomorphic and zoomorphic robots using symbiotic artificial intelligence.
The project is funded under Spoke 6 of the “Future Artificial Intelligence Research” (FAIR) programme (ID: PE0000013 funded by the European Union – “Next Generation EU” via PNRR MUR funds – M4C2 – Investment 1.3).
