Logogramma participated as a Gold Sponsor at ECML 2026 – European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases.
One of the leading international conferences dedicated to Machine Learning and knowledge discovery from data, organised at the University of Naples Federico II by Prof. Elio Masciari.
Five intense days of conferences, parallel sessions, and meetings brought together international researchers, companies, and research centres, creating an important space for dialogue on the evolution of Machine Learning, methodologies for knowledge discovery, and the challenges that artificial intelligence poses today to those developing it and bringing it to market.
For Logogramma, ECML was above all an opportunity to share its vision of AI. Within the Industrial Track, we presented the contribution:
“From Data Sources to Knowledge Springs: a Humanistic Approach to build Sustainable, Vertical and Trustworthy AI.”
The title summarises an approach that starts from data but does not stop at its processing. For Logogramma, building truly useful AI systems means transforming data sources into knowledge, keeping people, the context in which the technology is used, and the responsibility with which it is designed at the centre.
The idea of a humanistic approach to artificial intelligence: an AI built to be sustainable, vertical and trustworthy, capable of integrating technological expertise and knowledge of application domains, without losing sight of information quality, process transparency, and the role of people.
Participation in ECML thus confirms Logogramma’s path: engaging with international research, bringing corporate experience into the scientific debate, and transforming the evolution of technologies into concrete solutions.
It is in the dialogue between research and industry, between data and knowledge, and between technology and human expertise, that we see the birth of an artificial intelligence capable of creating value in a sustainable and reliable way.
