On Thursday 20th November, as part of the Privacy in Chiaro 2025 Seminar series, we held a seminar dedicated to “Fundamentals of Generative AI: for a responsible use of AI and data protection”.
Valentina Russo and Azzurra Mancini virtually returned to the lectern and, during the afternoon, presented the seminar’s topic starting from the basics – what is meant by AI, what are the differences between AI and generative AI – before addressing some central themes related, in general, to knowledge and data management and, in particular, to the protection of data for those who, in corporate or private contexts, use these tools without adequate training on their use, risks, and opportunities.
Over the two hours, which were rich in audience interaction, we attempted to analyse the challenges, possibilities, and critical points to consider for a responsible use of generative AI and LLM models, tools that are increasingly present in our daily lives.
The seminar – which involved a diverse and attentive audience of professionals – was also valid for the renewal of AICQ SICEV certification.
